Switzerland is a beautiful country with numerous Must-See Attractions.
Here are some I will recommend for each of the cities I’d visited.
Zurich:
- Old Town (Altstadt): Explore the charming cobblestone streets, medieval buildings, and historical sites in Zurich’s Old Town.
- The Rhine Falls (Rheinfall in German) is one of Switzerland’s most spectacular natural attractions and is located near the town of Schaffhausen, which is about an hour’s drive from Zurich. It is the largest waterfall in Europe by volume and an impressive sight to behold.

Interlaken:
- St. Beatus: St. Beatus Caves (St. Beatus-Höhlen) are a fascinating natural attraction located near Interlaken, Switzerland. These limestone caves are named after Saint Beatus, a Christian hermit who, according to legend, lived and meditated in the caves during the early Christian era. The caves are rich in history, geological formations, and offer a unique underground adventure for visitors.
- Harder Kulm: Ride the funicular to this viewpoint for panoramic vistas of Interlaken and the nearby mountains.
- Adventure Sports: Interlaken is a hub for adventure sports like paragliding, skydiving, and bungee jumping.

Bern:
- Old Town (UNESCO World Heritage Site): Explore the well-preserved medieval old town, with its Zytglogge clock tower and the Federal Palace.
- Bern Bear Park: Visit the spacious enclosure where the city’s iconic bears reside in a natural habitat.
- Einstein Museum: Learn about Albert Einstein’s life and work during his time in Bern.
